I've been a professional photographer for 14 years, but I've been learning how to look through a camera since I can remember. It's a true and intwined part of me. The camera brings me confidence, and helps me see things I might have otherwise missed. That we all would have otherwise missed. I'm interested in connectedness and unwavering love. I'm interested in deep and rolling intimacy, in the beauty and complexity in the bond between mother and her children, and the love between two partners.
I've learned over time that a great photograph isn't just about what a moment looks like, but what it feels like. How it feels to be so deeply in love with your babe, or your partner; how it is to rest your face on theirs; the calm that comes as you wrap your arms around them. A great photograph has the power to remind you what it is to be in this very moment right now.
In addition to being a photographer, I am also an adventurer, a conservationist, and an exceedingly proud mama. I live in Denver with my adorable husband, our amazing son, our incredible baby girl, our ridiculous dog, and a long train of the most amazing foster cats ever.
