Big Day Events is the love-child of Veronica Stivers (she/her), a dedicated and seasoned event manager based in Louisville, Kentucky. With a twenty-plus year career in every aspect of the hospitality industry, she has seen and done it all, and uses her expansive set of skills to make events run seamlessly. Veronica attended Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, SC, where she studied Baking & Pastry. She lives by the Julia Child adage, “A party without cake is just a meeting.” After coming home to Louisville, she operated top restaurants, sold wine and spirits, coordinated multi-state events for a bourbon brand, and managed events at Louisville’s 21c Museum Hotel. In addition to weddings, she designs and executes corporate events from New York to California to London, as well as conferences and social events
