Big Island Little Cheese started in 2022 in the small town of Hawi, on the Big Island of Hawaii. We had the idea of bringing a cheese experience to this small historic town. We partnered with Naked Cow Dairy. A small local dairy farm in the area of North Kohala on the Big Island of Hawaii. We saw the need to help small local farms in Hawaii, by providing an outlet for local sales. We pride ourselves in providing to the locals and the visitors to the islands, an array of locally and nationally produced artisan cheeses. In January of 2023 we moved our cheese shop to a little town in Spring, Texas in the Greater Houston area. BILC Shoppe started in sept of 2022 in the small town of Hawi, on the Big Island of Hawaii. Our partner company Naked Cow Dairy, is a small dairy farm producing small batches of artisan cheeses in the area of North Kohala on the Big Island of Hawaii. Naked Cow has been providing the Island with fresh locally made cheese and butter for more than 15 years. We saw the need to help small cheese producing farms, in Hawaii, by providing an outlet for local sales. We pride ourselves in providing to the locals and the visitors to the islands, an array of locally and nationally produced artisan cheeses. Primarily sourced from small family farms like Naked Cow. In January of 2023 we expanded our small cheese shop idea to a little town in Texas. Spring, Texas is our newest Big Island Little Cheese Shoppe sourcing locally made cheeses from Hawaii and Texas. Big Island Little Cheese Shop makes Hawaiian inspired artisan cheese made and found nowhere else in the world!
