Owner Cody is passionate about documenting precious moments as they unfold, whether amongst the magnificent Colorado mountains or anywhere in the world. ColorCO Photography is owned and operated by me, Cody Sowa the Lead Photographer. I’ve been photographing weddings and events professionally since 2016 and as a hobby for as long as I can remember.
Photographing Weddings has easily become my favorite form of photography simply because I absolutely love documenting a couple’s love story on their BIG day!
I was born here in Colorado and love to take part in all of the mountain activities. I really enjoy golf, rock/ice climbing, snowboarding, canyoneering, mountain biking, stand up paddle boarding and white water sports.
As a cancer survivor, I also truly believe in the healing properties of spending time outdoors in the wilderness. So much so that I am the Outdoor recreational therapy consultant for the Kirstie Ennis Foundation. We provide growth and healing opportunities to amputees, military veterans, cancer survivors and many more niche groups through outdoor activities such as snowboarding, rock climbing and mountain biking.
