Since 1915, the purpose of the Dante Club has been to operate as social club and to promote good American citizenship; to encourage sports activities and sporting events, inspire good fellowship, participate in community affairs, contribute to educational programs, and in general live up to the best tradition of service to the townspeople of West Springfield, Massachusetts and the Pioneer Valley.
