Based in Morrison, Colorado, Dirty Talk Photography offers wedding and boudoir photography for spouses-to-be who wish to embrace their beauty in an edgy yet empowering setting. Owner Sammy wishes to give all her clients the space to be vulnerable and free while in front of her lens. She found her passion for the field after realizing how amazing it made her and her friends feel. She has now been a part of an abundance of positive boudoir experiences and wishes to share this with others. Boudoir found me accidentally. I applied for a job I found online as a boudoir photographer after searching for any photography gig that sounded remotely cool. I had never shot boudoir before but I’ve always loved throwing myself into stuff. I didn’t have a boudoir portfolio so my roommate at the time, now forever friend, Megan, offered to model for me. Boudoir intimidated me so I am beyond grateful for this offer - I would’ve never asked. We took photos with just us two and had SO much fun. We had also just moved to Colorado so Megan asked the only other girl we knew there at the time if she wanted to join us for another shoot to help grow my portfolio. I didn’t get the job, but I did catch a new found love for this empowering work I was doing. After that, I shot couples, more boudoir, a few weddings, engagements, band photos, headshots, and really anything else that seemed fun. My good friend had an idea for a boudoir photography party so she could have pictures of all her friends on her wall. We went, destroyed self-imposed barriers of self-expression, felt amazing about ourselves, and have pictures and memories to last forever. The more boudoir photography I shot and the more boudoir experiences I was a part of, the more I fell in love with the positive aspects of this work. Boudoir became my therapy. I learned a lot about myself and my self-limiting beliefs. I learned and am still learning how to embrace myself fully - how to feel through my feelings instead of around them. Most importantly, I learned that boudoir is therapy to more than just myself. It has helped every single person I have worked with see beauty in her whole self. I still photograph other parts of life, but boudoir has become a passion. It’s a fire that I am so grateful I get to fuel. Services Offered Dirty Talk Photography gives people the opportunity to enjoy a solo boudoir session, one with their partner, or parties with friends. Preserving the moments on film and camera, you can enjoy the journey and look back on the beautifully captured images. The packages range from one to six hours of coverage, and can include a bottle of champagne, light snacks, custom wear, take-home polaroids, a massage, and more, depending on client selection. No matter the choice, each person who leaves the session is guaranteed to feel confident and transformed after collaborating with Sammy at Dirty Talk Photography.
