My name is Janie Kegley Marcum and I am the Lead Planner & Owner of Edin Events! I am so pleased you are taking the time to read a little bit about me and my journey with Edin Events! Fun Fact, Edin is the name of the first cat my husband and I ever adopted together. She was a total sweetheart and we named her after the first place we traveled to, Edinburgh, Scotland. While she is no longer with us, we will always remember her as she truly made us a family and was such wonderful chapter of our love story. Now, I get to think of her every time I see my business name and help couples like you with their love story! (Edin is featured in photo above) Another fun fact, I studied art in undergrad! I hold event design to the highest of standards while bringing my visual arts perspective to the table. No design request is too bold! I believe this is what sets me a part from most wedding planners as I am always eager to make your wedding day design timeless, yet unique to you! I am extremely proud to say that I have over 10 years of event planning experience! I found my love for the wedding industry by first interning at the Cincinnati Art Museum. The museum soon hired me as their Wedding & Events Coordinator the moment I graduated from University of Kentucky after receiving my masters in Arts Administration, and I have been building my wedding planning skills ever since
