And life is too short to take things so seriously, seriously.
I'm a traveling wedding + elopement photographer + photography/small biz educator mesmerized by the way two people love each other, each so uniquely. I photograph all love stories, in the places on this earth that draw them in. I'm mom to a kid way cooler than me. I have a frenchie puppy who’s way more popular than I am.
I also believe to the core that who we are matters. The imagery we create together is dependent on our connection with each other + being the right fit for each other. Let’s get to know one another, I’ll start.
But, this life is also fragile + brief. When I was 12 years old my dad suddenly passed away. It was more than half my life ago + now we know him just through photos + memories. I’m not that old, but even now I don’t really remember all the memories + moments.
But the images I have of him let him live on as his personality comes through in each. It’s like I can almost hear him laughing by just looking at a photo of him. Or like I can feel his embrace again. Those photos keep his memory + love fresh in my mind, even as time moves forward. What a gift.
I carry this with me every time I pick up my camera to photograph you, your love, your friends + family. Someday, I hope very far from now, your memories will fade away of this time. What remains are these photos of you, of your story, of these moments. I won’t just leave you with images you think are beautiful.
