I was born and raised in Florida. I moved to Gainesville to attend the University of Florida in 2006 and never left. I love the Gainesville community. I love how close we are to nature, how many parks there are in the city, and I think the influx of students keeps everyone and everything young.
As an only grandchild, I was always the main subject in my Grandpa Hy’s amateur photography career. Years later, after purchasing a camera for the graphic design program at Santa Fe College, I learned that I had the bug as well. I started taking portraits professionally in 2012 and my experience in natural light photography took off from there. There is nothing better than loving what you do for a living and I am thankful every time I pick up my camera.
Besides photography, I enjoy road trips (or travel of any kind), cold weather, my two adorable cats, Instagraming pictures of my food, and staying busy.

A part-time photographer and designer, Jamie Greenspan provides professional photography for engagements and weddings. Wedding packages include up to eight hours of wedding day coverage and an online gallery. An additional fee is charged for distances farther than 60 miles of Gainesville, Florida.
