Market Table's farm to table menu celebrates the best of the market's bounty, influenced by Chef Mike Price's childhood on his family farm. Located at the corner of Carmine and Bedford streets in the West Village, Market Table’s floor-to-ceiling windows and wonderful ambiance offer an unparalleled view onto village life, perfect for contemporary dining and private events.
Executive Chef Mikey Price and Joey Campanaro opened Market Table restaurant in the fall of 2007. Located on the corner of Carmine Street and Bedford Street in the West Village, the comfortable seating arrangement of the dining room is flanked by huge windows which offer a view to village life and guarantees there is a great seat for everyone. The food served at Market Table is Seasonal American with an interesting focus on seafood. Mikey takes his inspiration from a lifetime of working in the finest kitchens and with great chefs. He offers an abundance of specials each night, reflecting his love affair with creating interesting yet approachable dishes.
Mikey’s operating vision extends into the dining room from the open kitchen, where he is able to reach his guests with eye contact and that oh-so-often approachable smile, making his guests feel comfortable and right at home. Mikey works directly with the GM, Peter Lucania, who nourishes the ever-growing wine list and is in the dining room to ensure guest satisfaction and support the loving staff. From the host to the busboy, the staff at Market Table is dedicated to the true sense of hospitality and strives to please.
Tucked away through the kitchen and beneath the main dining room, Market Table also offers a private dining room. The private room is thoughtfully decorated with unique solar panels and antiques from the 1930s. The exposed brick walls and beautiful vaulted cherry paneled ceiling are lit softly by candlelight. The private dining room accommodates up to 24 guests and is available for lunch and dinner, corporate and social events.
With lunch served Monday-Friday, brunch on weekends and dinner nightly, Market Table is a friendly neighborhood destination.
