Sarah Jo Design is the work of Sarah Strange. Sarah has always loved to write ever since she learned cursive in 3rd grade. When she was young, she explored different writing styles and incorporated it into her design. Now she's a college student striving to live life in an abnormal way. She wants to make things beautiful and capturing to the eye. She endeavors to share her passion for modern romantic calligraphy for weddings and events. She believes every event/occasion is special and unique. That is why every order that comes her way is never just information planted into a template. I started my business in 2015 when a close friend was getting married. I had always had "pretty handwriting" and was really refining my penmanship that year. My friend asked me to address her invitation envelopes, write some place cards and do some quick signage for her wedding day. You could say I was hooked after that. I continued to educate myself on calligraphy and graphic design after that and through several episodes of spilled ink, paper cuts and mishpas, I've learned SO much....and have realized YouTube tutorials are the bestie. 10 years later and I truly feel like a pro and in my element. Being a paper maker is my DREAM! I truly hope to capture your unique love story through a beautifully-crafted suite, that will provide your guests with a first glimpse of the most special day of your life.
