The Inviting Pear was created out of a passion for design, the art of creating something truly unique, utterly unforgettable and undeniably personal.
When I was planning my wedding, I was completely uninspired by the invitations available. As a graphic designer with more than 20 years of experience, I decided to create my own invitations. Soon I had wedding couples requiring my design services, and The Inviting Pear was born.
Founded in 2005, Shannon Ferguson is the owner and graphic designer of The Inviting Pear, a full-service Austin, Texas stationery studio. Arielle Vicaria is our senior graphic designer and watercolor artist for the last eight years. Kat Murph is our graphic designer who has 21 years of design and printing experience.
We believe every design should be as unique and special as the client. We strive to listen to our clients and understand their personality so that we can translate it into the perfect design piece. We love every aspect of the process—from the initial consultation to the design to the printing production.
You can customize every aspect of your invitation - from the paper and embellishments to the colors and monogram - creating a design that is unlike any other.
