Castaway Portland has been around since 2011 when we hosted our first event as a hidden gem. Over the years, we've worked hard to restore the space, adding modern amenities while keeping the charm that made us fall in love with it in the first place. Today, Castaway is a well-known and highly awarded event venue in NW Portland. We're a close-knit, family-owned business brought to life by a caring and dedicated team. The Basics Castaway Portland features nearly 10,000 square feet of indoor space and an additional 5,000 square feet outdoors in our covered courtyard. The building, a 1929 historic warehouse, still has its original sash-pane windows, 14' ceilings, and wooden beams. Our full restoration added polished concrete floors, central heating and cooling, a private suite, a catering kitchen, plenty of restrooms, and enough power to host big events. We can accommodate anything from small gatherings to large celebrations. Plus, parking is easy, with space for over 100 cars just a block away. The Perks Our team is here to support you every step of the way. We're experienced and ready to offer suggestions and resources. Parking is convenient, with two lots nearby and plenty of unmetered street parking. We're flexible and open to your ideas. Choose from our trusted partners, and don't feel limited by the usual event setups. We include an inventory for up to 200 guests, with options to expand for larger groups. Our beautiful wedding day suite is stocked with comfy furniture, a smart TV, Sono's speakers, and a fridge.
