Welcome to FIVE Event Center, our historic space is a dual-level event venue tucked away in Uptown Minneapolis, Minnesota. Featuring high ceilings, natural light, and historic brick interior, we make it easy for you to plan your event in an effortlessly beautiful space. Offering a timeless atmosphere, thoughtful planning and a personalized level of service, FIVE Event Center delivers a distinctly unique experience for our clients.
Our first level bar and intimate second level offer dramatic lighting, a romantic color palette and stunning architecture at every turn. FIVE can accommodate up to 200 guests for a seated dinner and up to 350 guests for a cocktail reception.
The building that houses FIVE Event Center is formerly the 5th Police Precinct of Minneapolis. Built in the late 1800s, the building showcases the original elements of the space including exposed brick, gorgeous hardwood floors, and stunning architecture at every turn. Walking into the building, you’ll find yourself in front of a bar with cocktail style seating and tables. The grand stone staircase leads up to the second floor where another bar is located along with open space to host your main event. The building has been remodeled to include amenities like modern lighting and artwork to bring the historic into the now. The space also includes a chic lower level lounge. With up-to-date tech capabilities like a projector, retractable screen, sound system, and microphone, we can host any event from weddings to corporate events, retirements to fundraisers. Meshing the historic with the contemporary makes for a unique event center that’s truly one-of-a-kind and makes for a stunning backdrop for your event.
