Foss Waterway Seaport is a breathtaking wedding venue located on the water in Tacoma, Washington. You can get married in the historic Balfour Dock building with panoramic views of the Thea Foss Waterway, Commencement Bay, Mt. Rainier, and the Tacoma city skyline. The venue is fully customizable to fit your wedding style, theme and needs. You even have the option to travel to your wedding by boat. The Seaport offers 1,200 lineal feet of side-tie guest moorage with secured access to the dock.
Facility and Capacity
Foss Waterway Seaport can accommodate weddings of up to 350 people. You can choose to host your wedding ceremony and reception outdoors overlooking the water or indoors within the beautiful building that has 420 feet of waterfront esplanade. You can also host any of your other wedding events including a rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, engagement party, or elopement.
The interior of the building has dramatic windows from floor to ceiling with intricate bridge truss-style ceilings that soar 55 feet high. The views of the active waterfront area provide a great background for your event. The restored and upgraded outdoor esplanade spans the length of the dock building with plenty of space to host your ceremony or serve as a social gathering space.

Foss Waterway Seaport has a preffered catering list and offers tables and chairs (for up to 300 guests).
