History
The ballroom was built in 1924 by Bill and Lenora Golden and was operated by their son and daughter-in-law as a restaurant. In 1929, they built a second structure that was used as a roller skating rink and dance hall. For years it was the most popular destination for dances and live entertainment. Eventually they sold the Glow in 1962 and it was renovated in the 1990s. It then became a popular wedding facility. After the historic building was burned down by an electrical fire in 2009, it was rebuilt and is the beautiful building standing today.
