Gran Morsi, named after the Italian word for “bites,” epitomizes elegant simplicity. This airy and convivial Tribeca restaurant specializes in boldly-flavored Italian fare with a strong focus on small and shared plates. Gran Morsi provides both downtown Manhattan residents and visitors with a dining experience fit for whatever they’re in the mood for, whether it’s a special occasion celebration, an intimate evening or a casual night out with friends. Gran Morsi is a bi-level venue comprised of our Main Dining Room Floor and the Private Event Space. We offer a turn-key event package, complete with all catering needs, furniture, and linens. All our events are staffed with a dedicated team, along with an on-site manager, for the duration of your event to ensure your event is flawless. Both our Main Dining Room Floor and Private Event Space include a full-service private bar, sound system, and individual restrooms. We also offer audio visual capabilities, including a screen & projector, flatscreen television, and wireless microphones. We have several packages to choose from, all of which are customizable. Our chef and events team will work with you to create the ideal menu for any event you’re planning. At Gran Morsi, we to host a variety of events, including 1st birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers, corporate dinners, cocktail parties, wedding ceremonies, receptions, group lunches, brunches, dinners, we do it all! Our event space accommodates up to 125 guests seated, and 175 guests standing, while the Main Dining Room can accommodate up to 90 guests seated, and 125 guests standing. For larger events we are able to open both floors for events and we are able to accommodate 200 guests seated, or 300 guests standing. We offer elevator access for any guests who may need it. For weddings looking to hold the ceremony on-site, we typically hold a ceremony in our Main Dining Room (shown above), and a reception in our Private Event Space.
