Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center is a stylish and sophisticated wedding venue located just outside of Washington, D.C, in College Park, Maryland. With a variety of event spaces available, Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center has a maximum capacity of up to 500 guests for a seated banquet and 800 standing reception. Each space features its own unique flair, featuring breathtaking details such as marble floors, fireplaces, grand staircases, stained glass, and a finely manicured garden for a beautiful outdoor ceremony. The picture-perfect setting outside our nation’s capital will surely make you and your guests’ hearts skip a beat!
Wedding Packages begin at $5,000 and include the following features:

- Your choice of a white dance floor or up to 9 panels of staging.
- 2-hour allotment for set-up (Caterers & Decorators can access the ballroom 3 hours in advance)
- 4-hour allotment of event time
- 1-hour allotment for clean-up & breakdown (covered by the Riggs team and your caterers)
- Free Parking and Valet Services Available
- All Spaces are Wheelchair Accessible
A ceremony can easily be added in one of our many spaces, including a one-hour rehearsal the week of your wedding, a one-hour ceremony, and a chair rental. Moxley Gardens is a beautiful ceremony site in the Spring, Summer, and Fall.

We offer a variety of selected caterers to satisfy even the most diverse palate. Visit us online to see the approved caterers you can choose from.
Bar/Beverages:
Alcohol must be purchased through the Riggs Alumni Center, but we offer various bar options. From our Celebration Bar with just beer and wine to our Premium Open Bar to a Cash Bar, we have something to fit every budget!
