About

The Club House has been the site for a variety of events from music competitions to luncheons to formal dinners, receptions, and dancing to games days to family reunions. We understand how special and unique you want your event to be. From the elegant Ballroom to the stately Drawing, Dining, and Reception Rooms, your event can create great memories for all who attend. If your event is a wedding, for example, the broad and grand staircase will provide a dramatic flourish as the bride gently tosses her bouquet to the ladies below. The Century Club of California was founded in 1888 as a private women's club. In 1905 a Club House, with rooms designed by member Julia Morgan, was built on Franklin Street in San Francisco. The Club House survived the 1906 earthquake and fire and was used temporarily to house the California State Supreme Court. The Century Club of California Club House facilities are available to rent for weddings, private dinners, recitals, weekly meetings, and business or social events, with or without the use of kitchen facilities. Explore our website to see how the Club House and the amenities we offer can make your event wonderful and memorable. We look forward to working with you to plan your special occasion.
