A stone patio and path at The Old Homestead leads to a lush, wooded area accented by well-maintained gardens. Majestic redwoods enclose and enhance the wood deck area, offering a shady retreat from the sunny lawn and dance areas. Surrounded by dense woods, a beautiful garden and a historic home, this event space provides a unique sense of intimacy for you and your wedding guests.
Services Offered
The Old Homestead offers venue rental for weddings and other social events. Event services offered include the following:
- Full use of the facility for 10 consecutive hours (Diamond package) and 8 consecutive hours (Ruby package) between 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Additional hours may be purchased for $200 per hour.
- One-hour rehearsal, (if applicable), booked at least 30 days prior to event.
- String lighting over garden.
- Outdoor furnishings, including set up and tear down.
- Bar and arbor.
- Designated area for the bar.
- Large parking lot for guest parking.
- Handicap parking spot directly outside of main entrance.
- Wheelchair accessible throughout facility.
- Use of a warming kitchen and a commercial refrigerator.
- Small parking area may be used for barbecue, taco cart, mobile kitchen, event tent or food trucks.

- Vendors of their choice including caterer, florist, photographer, videographer, dj, officiant, etc.
- May bring their own liquor. No bartender is required, but additional requirements apply.

The Old Homestead is an ideal location for hosting private parties of varying sizes. In addition to wedding ceremonies and receptions, this location can accommodate all of your wedding events, such as engagement parties, bridal showers and rehearsals. This venue is also available for hosting corporate meetings, holiday parties, birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions.
History
Built in 1867, this California Historical Landmark was the first non-native dwelling built in Crockett. In the early 1880s, the Edwards family sold the portion of their property where this venue now stands for the purpose of building a flour mill. The Old Homestead was renovated in 1953 and operated as a meeting place for community events. The integrity of this extraordinary home has been lovingly preserved through the years and is currently maintained and operated by the Carquinez Women’s Club.
Location
The Old Homestead is located in the city of Crocket near the Carquinez Strait, in the intersection of the San Pablo Bay, Grizzly Bay and Suisun Bay. This location is located within a block of the Crockett Historical Museum, Rithet Park and Alexander Park.
