The Raleigh Times Bar is a timeless local watering hole and so much more. Raleigh’s past, present and future are all on display at this 100 year old building that has been beautifully restored to house this fine establishment. Old press clippings and images from our namesake newspaper adorn the walls and capture the rich cultural and political history that is unique to the Capital City. Our exceptional cuisine, featuring hand crafted, creative takes on classic bar fare favorites, as well as our inventive drink menu and extensive Belgian beer selection are newsworthy additions to Downtown Raleigh. Since restoring the original building in 2006, The Raleigh Times has expanded twice to include second floor seating and a rooftop patio with the best views in downtown Raleigh. The Raleigh Times offers 2 private dining rooms perfect for rehearsal dinners, corporate dinner meetings, birthday celebrations, and cocktail parties. Our Second Floor Bar and Rooftop patio (seats 40; 65 combined standing room) is equipped with its own bar, restroom, and exciting view of lively Downtown Raleigh. Our Main Floor Dining Room is an intimate space (seats 30) with all the character and charm of The Raleigh Times.
