All proceeds from The Venue at Wings are used to further the mission of Wings. The Venue is also used as vocational training for members of Wings. It provides a safe place for the member to learn and work in a vocational setting by cleaning, setting up for events and making our venue walk-in ready for our guests. We have witnessed the power of our Members building these relationships, which have become a sense of security and joy during good times and bad. Which is why we chose to augment our day program with a special monthly evening event that allows for nothing more than friendships to develop in a fun, safe and social environment. We expand our impact through Wings Social Club, which was created to provide an outlet for socialization in a safe and supportive environment. These events foster the development of friendships and connect people in a way that is real and lasting. Social Club participants enjoy events at the Wings campus, like dinner and a dance. Guardians drop members off, and they feel like they are out on the town for a great night.
