Washington Hall has been a welcoming place where people gather, create, entertain, and celebrate since it was built in 1908. The Hall has been a cultural home to many communities and art forms, and for a long time embodied the soul of Seattle’s Central Area. Washington Hall has a deep history as a performing arts venue and community gathering space. Our two historic spaces, the Lodge Room and the Main Hall, are available for anyone in the community to rent for performances, weddings, rehearsals, meetings and more. With an open floorplan, and beautiful historic architecture, each room is a blank slate for any event. Washington Hall offers two beautifully restored event spaces available for public events, parties, performances, classes, meetings, lectures, and rehearsals. On the second floor is a large ballroom with stage and balcony; and the first floor Lodge Room is a smaller, more intimate versatile gathering space. Both rooms have an open floor plan to allow for maximum flexibility.
